The EU could “respond swiftly and decisively” in response to what it deems “unwarranted” travel bans imposed by the US on five Europeans involved in fighting digital hatred and disinformation, an EU official stated.
EU Officials Condemn US Action as ‘Intimidation’
European leaders including Emmanuel Macron charged the US administration of “bullying and threats”, after the travel bans were placed on individuals that were at the heart of efforts to introduce legislation governing US-based technology firms.
